Plenty of local food. Calm area, central location just next door to the city centre and Weekenders Coffee which serves up one of the best pourover coffees.

Location: the hotel was so close to good restaurants, and Nishiki market and many local restaurants & bars, traditional stores and renovated places. The place was minute walk from Pizzeria Marita, where you can have dinner;)))

Excellent and lovely position, I truly enjoyed staying in this place.
Stayed in new-fashioned a twin room with amenities. A microwave oven, coffee & tea makers and a refrigerator were very handy.

The location of Miru Kyoto Nishiki couldn't have been more perfect. It was just a block away from Nishiki Market and Teramachi, and within easy reach of the bus stop and train station. Being surrounded by cafés, restaurants, stores, and museums made exploring the area a breeze. The room was surprisingly spacious and incredibly cozy, and the daily cleaning service ensured it stayed spotless. As a solo traveler, the tatami room was a perfect fit for me. Additionally, the warm and helpful staff made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for its ideal location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional service.

This hotel is perfect, a short walk from the Nishiki market and within close reach to trendy boutiques, restaurants in all price ranges, an amazing bakery, and a few blocks from our now favorite craft beer taproom. The location is also perfect to explore Kyoto by foot. The rooms were larger than expected and exceptionally clean, with modern conveniences like plenty of USB charging ports, a wireless wifi you can take with you when exploring around, a universal adapter, coffee maker, microwave. The staff was very friendly and the basic amenities were good.
The only thing that could be improved was the lack of a traditional wardrobe with drawers in the rooms.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
